Actress Michelle Monaghan is shedding some very interesting light on Michael's surprise decision to enter himself into rehab yesterday. While she does not know why he entered rehab or what he is receiving treatment for she has mentioned in an interview with Ryan Seacrest's radio show about what has been going on with Meyers lately. Monaghan, who starred with Meyers in 2009's The Believers says: "We became friends on that film (The Believers) and he always struck me as a very sensitive guy. Not at all like this bad boy image everyone tries to put on him. Ya know, it's funny, because I remember, like, he's the type, like, if you say something to him and he takes it the wrong way, he won't speak to you for days. Even if you say it was just a joke, he'll go 'Well I didn't take it as a joke'. Just very sensitive and he craves people who are genuine. He and I are similar in that way. He has alot of trust issues. He's been burned, but who hasn't? I actually found him kind of, I dunno, just a lonely soul, looking for a friend really. I tried to be that for him, especially in the past 6 weeks or so. Two months maybe. We have been talking alot, texting mainly. Just chit chat. We lost contact for a while after filming but we've really reconnected in the past two months or so. He's been really, struggling, I guess, with some things. Not sure what exactly. Mostly personal things I guess. I have no idea what exactly caused him to go to rehab but I hope it's nothing too serious. I wish I had more information but I am sure when the time is right he will talk about it. I know he took the breakup with Rosie pretty hard. That was less than a week after Valentine's. And he did mention some drama that had been going on between him and Rachel McAdams the past few days but I dont know if that has anything to do with it. (After being asked if him and Rachel are dating) I have no idea. He didnt make it seem that way. Just that he wanted to hang out with her and she was too busy or something like that. But he's been the same with me. Wanting to spend time but with my child, Ava, and work I've just been so swamped. I always tell him, one day soon, one day soon. Maybe he just needed someone to talk to. I dont know. I feel awful. Maybe I could have been there for him more. I just dont know. But I plan to be there more for him when he gets out, when he's ready. I just hope and pray he is okay. He really is one of our finest actors and I just wish the best for him, as a friend and a fellow actor. And I know the rest of Hollywood does as well. We need him around."

Michael Enters Himself into Rehab Facility for Unknown Reasons
After saying he'd never go back to rehab, Michael apparently has gone right back there. In very shocking news, it was announced today that Michael has entered himself into an undisclosed rehab facility for unknown reasons. This would be his third stint in rehab. The first two times were drug related. Not sure what is the issue here. Sources have rumored it may be about sex addiction but no one is sure. This will not effect his appearing on Inside the Actor's Studio since that interview has been filmed already but wonders how long he will be in there and if this will effect his promotion for next month's Quantum of Solace as well as the filming of The Boy Who Got Away which has been delayed for months now but is scheduled to start soon. On top of all that, his 27th birthday is Wednesday. I guess all of that is unimportant in the grand scheme of things. Obviously something is wrong (maybe all the manic dating in the past few months was a sign of problems) and he clearly feels he needs to tackle it now with all this down time he has. I am glad he is seeking help for whatever is wrong and we all hope the best for him.

Michael attends Scream 4 premiere with Alley Vendetta (avoids Kristen Bell)

This weekend Michael attended the Hollywood premiere of Scream 4 with his good friend Alley Vendetta, lead singer of rock band Secrets and Sunsets, as well as the star of his indie film he directed earlier this year Look At Me Now. He wisely avoided any questions from media types, only saying to one reporter "I'm a big fan of Wes (Craven). He's one of our masters of horror and I hope to work with him one day. I missed my chance back in 2005 when I was supposed to do Red Eye but scheduling conflicts cost me the role and it went to Cillian Murphy, who did an amazing job with it. But I still regret that and hopefully one day Wes and I will hook up on something." When asked about The Boy Who Got Away he said "I spoke to Roman (Polanski) a few nights ago and he said things are looking good and we should start shooting next month or so. Nothing is sure yet. Keeping my fingers crossed. Just here to have a good time tonight and watch a good horror film. I love this (Scream) franchise."
Interestingly enough, Michael's first girlfriend (and fiance at one point) Kristen Bell was also there at the premiere. She also stars in Scream 4, albeit briefly, and she seemed in good spirits. She recently married actor Zachary Knighton (the pair have been dating for over 3 years) and spoke about a small film they are planning on making together. When asked if she has seen Michael tonight, she simply replied "Nope". There are no photos or video of the two crossing paths so maybe they avoided each other, but last we checked the two were on good terms, even having breakfast together early last year. Maybe things change...Friday, April 15, 2011
Michael tweets that 'If I Had You' may be his best film
Michael tweeted yesterday "Cameron Crowe (pictured above) just let me watch a rough cut of If I Had You and i think this might be my best film yet!" He followed that with "Cant wait for my fans to see this film. Me and Keira have a love scene that will make you c*m"....ok...??? Sounds good to me. I am eagerly anticipating this film, which opens in October. For those not familiar, it is a romantic drama in which Keira Knightley plays a woman married to Sam Worthington but is unsure if he is having an affair with his beautiful co-worker, played by Rosie Huntington. While Sam and Rosie are on a weekend business trip, Keira runs into her ex-boyfriend played by Michael Reese Meyers. The two begin to realize they still have strong feelings for each other. The film was shot in London and Michael plays a British character. The trailer should be released this summer hopefully.

Michael and Rosie Done???
Rosie Huntington tweeted last night "single and loving it. out for a nite with the gals. #GURLPOWER". Hmm, has she finally had enough of Meyers and his inability to make up his mind who he wants to spend time with? Apparently his vow to only date British women and stay out of trouble was short lived because all he's done since that statement is hook up with non-British women and get in trouble! LOL. Michael, you been a bad bad boy, but let's be honest ladies, isnt that why we love him???

Demi and Michael videotape their wild Vegas weekend: Stripping/Drugs?
The drama never ends...Michael and Demi Lovato spent the weekend in Las Vegas apparently and today a video leaked of the two doing alot of crazy stuff. The 23 minute video (which Michael posted via his Twitter page from Demi's UStream account) consists of mostly Michael and Demi talking about nonsense (such as fashion, their high school experiences, and their shared love for the film "Domino") and there are some segments that include them making out, her giving him a striptease and lap dance (in several different outfits) and where it gets really controversial is after a brief couple of minutes where the camera is left running with them seemingly unaware it's still on, it sounds like the two (who cannot be seen by the camera at this point) are heard snorting something and Demi mentions what sounds like "oh my God you know the pills I like..." Hopefully Michael is not going back down the drug path. He has been to rehab twice now and with James Bond coming out in two months and his career soaring higher than ever, a relapse is the LAST thing he needs. But his constant switching of "girlfriends" the past few weeks (being seen with Demi, Rosie Huntington, and even taking "friend" Rachel McAdams to his Tears of the Sun premiere) as well as his "out of sorts" behavior at the SXSW film festival has led some to believe he has become more erratic. Plus the fact that Demi has her own past with cocaine is not a good influence for him. The delay of filming for The Boy Who Got Away due to Roman Polanski's legal issues has given Michael way too much free time, and he certainly is NOT spending it wisely....He needs to get his act together or may be in danger of losing some fans and jeopardizing his career.
