Back from Spring Break here to catch you up on all the March news we missed. January was a huge month with Michael going on Tyra Banks admitting to his sex addiction and also appearing at the Legion premiere on Jan. 29 announcing he will begin directing his second movie, a small indie film called Look At Me Now, starring 15 year old singer Alley Vendetta and 17 year old actor Chandler Massey. February was interesting with him co-hosting an episode of BET's 106 & Park music video show with Rocsi where he briefly dissed Mel Morley (basically calling her a self loathing, insecure loner whom he cannot save and that he is just one of many guys she pushes away since she doesn't love herself enough to accept love from anyone else. Ohh burn!!!). What else has been going on during March and April...?
-Michael presented the award for Best Foreign Short Film at the Oscars with his Inception co-star Leonardo DiCaprio in early March. Both looked dashing, as always.


-The very next week he was spotted with ex-fiance Kristen Bell having breakfast in West Hollywood, CA at the West Egg Cafe. Contrary to rumors, she is still engaged to Zachary Knighton, here is a photo of him. He's an actor (starred in The Hitcher remake a while back with Sophia Bush) but not exactly a hunk. Apparently he was born and raised in her hometown of Macon, Georgia so they must have bonded over that. At least they have that in common. Ugh, what is she thinking? She had filet mignon and ended up with a burnt hamburger! Anyway, her loss. So can ex couples who were once engaged, still be JUST "friends"? Apparently so...hmm...
-On Sunday, March 28, Michael was spotted with new gal pal Vendetta, star of his film he's directing Look At Me Now as well as lead singer of the rock band Secrets & Sunsets, at an L.A. Starbucks. The pair was seen again two days later apparently sharing a bong of some sort behind a movie theater in L.A. Classy. =/ Also, some videos Michael has taken of the band recording their new album have popped up on her band's MySpace page (www.myspace.com/secretsandsunsets). Alot has been made of the decade age difference between the two and for a guy trying to clean up his image of sex and drug addictions, it's probably not the best idea to be hanging with a teenage rocker with her own rehab issues, but hey, as long as he's happy...right?



-Ok, as for April, In ACTING NEWS (YAY!), Michael recently signed on to star as a WOMAN in a new film called "The Boy Who Got Away". It is about a young runaway girl (played by Michael) who gets caught up in an investigation about a murdered boy. The film will be shot in Sweden and spoken in Swedish with English subtitles. Neil Blomkamp (District 9) is directing and it is expected to start filming early next year for a December 2011 release (Oscar buzz anyone???)
