Meyers Taking More Pills???

Michael caused a bit of controversy (what else is new?) when he posted a photo of himself (or what we assume is his hand) holding a bottle of prescription pills yesterday on his Facebook account with the message "breakfast, lunch, and dinner (at least for the next 10 days)". Meyers, who has struggled with pill addictions in the past (mainly painkillers), was apparently just referring to the antibiotics recently prescribed to him by London doctors who saw a cyst in his right elbow during a physical he was taking before he is to begin training for his role as James Bond. Michael is currently in England preparing for the role and has been there for over a week.

Audrina Confirms Relationship with Meyers on Ryan Seacrest Radio Show

This morning Audrina Patridge went on the Ryan Seacrest radio show in Los Angeles to promote tomorrow night's series finale of MTV's The Hills and the subject of Michael came up. She claims that during the first week of May 2010, she called him up, the first time the two had spoken in 18 months (since their briefly lived October 2008 "romance"), in order to wish him a Happy Birthday since she knew his birthday was in early May but didn't remember the exact day (it's May 4th, she called him on May 2nd). Anyway, the two began talking again at that point and spending time together although at this point it was still an open relationship (hence his little rendezvous with adult actress Candy Simone on June 30). She claims the pair became serious in early July and she plans to go with him to London next month as he begins pre-production on the set of Quantum of Solace. Here is the video of the interview: www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jx-DV-F13DQ
P.S. When asked how she feels about the Mel tattoo on his neck she said he mentioned to her recently that he plans to somehow turn it into a tattoo saying Audrina. She didn't mention if he will have the old one removed first or just get a cover up done. Interesting...seeing as how in his Complex magazine interview he mentioned any girl would have to "get used to" the Mel tattoo. Guess he changed his mind....

James Franco's "Who Am I?" Documentary on Meyers Going 'Crazy' debuts Sept. 10

Back in early 2009 when Michael left drug rehab with a beard and talk of retiring from acting and starting a singing career, many thought he had lost his mind. He made a very sad song and music video about suicide. His now infamous David Letterman appearance led to a spoof by Ben Stiller at the 2009 Academy Awards and then rumors surfaced that it was all a hoax being documented by his best friend and fellow actor James Franco for a Andy Kaufman-like experimental 'mockumentary' about Hollywood and fame. Well apparently the rumors were true and the film has finally found a distributor, Magnolia Films, and a release date: September 10. The documentary is called "Who Am I?" and will chronicle Meyers leaving rehab, his epiphany to give up acting for music, his Letterman appearance, his music video and recording of songs, performing in various venues around the country, and his choice to return to reality. Not sure if it will be a comedy but it sounds extremely strange. Dark Horizons.com has more description of the project HERE.

Photos and Video from Inception New York Premiere

Here are some pictures and a video clip interview from the Inception premiere in New York City Tuesday night. In the photos we see the whole cast, director David Fincher, writer Chris Nolan, and celebs such as Drew Barrymore (hugging Mel Morley) and Michael's date/girlfriend Audrina Patridge. You can see the rest of the pictures HERE at Collider.com. There is also a video clip featuring scenes from the movie and interviews from the red carpet. Leonardo DiCaprio is in the video as well. Meyers is with Audrina during his segment of the video as he is interviewed by Kimberly Caldwell, who you may remember as a former American Idol contestant. Meyers talks about how the role affected his dreams during filming and how him and Audrina got lost on their way to the premiere. Check it out:

P.S. Director David Fincher made a pretty interesting comment on the red carpet about Meyers and Morley's performances. When asked how was it working with such an all star cast he says "A gift. I mean, with Leo, you don't even really have to direct him. He knows how to do this. He's very instinctual. He is in my opinion, in the vein of the classic leading men Hollywood's seen in the past. He truly carries the film and Rachel, she really grounds the film with her humility and kindness and general sweet nature. Her morals are what sets her apart from the other three. Leo, Michael, and Mel are all very driven. Driven by their ambition. Rachel just wants to do the right thing. I think she was great and we asked her to do alot, emotionally but she pulled it off. Every woman in the audience will be able to relate to her and every man will want to fall in love with her. She really drives this movie as the conscience of this team, this core group of characters we follow. And Mike and Mel, I mean what can I say? They are powerhouses. Mel is timid at first but once you penetrate that, wall she has, there is a bulldog underneath there. She's very articulate and great at improvisation which you need to be with Michael. And their experience working together in the past I think helped with that alot. I mean an actor like (Michael), with his intensity and vulnerability, and open volitility and reckless emotion, you don't restrain that, you let him go, you let him fly. And he went (off) in this movie. And I normally don't let actors go off script or adlib, ever. But I let him and Mel in this and for good reason. There are arguments (Trace and Adrienne) have in this film, where they go off script, they just riff off each other and you can tell, they weren't acting. It's so real. And it makes their love story, their tragic love story, that much more riveting. You feel the pain, the anger. We've all been there. Love can drive you insane". Anyway, check back tomorrow to check out photos and hopefully video from tonight's Hollywood premiere in Los Angeles, CA.

Video Clip & Quotes of Meyers/Morley Interview on The View

::QUOTES::

ON HOW IT WAS WORKING TOGETHER:
Joy: Now tell me, what was it like working on this movie together, I mean we all know the drama you both have gone through since the TV series you starred on together, I mean it had to have been awkward, I mean, it has to be awkward right now, haha...

Mel: Of course. I was bloody miserable. No. I mean it was good fun actually. The first day we talked it over and decided to be professional and cordial and we stuck to that. It was actually quite easy.

Michael: Yea like she said, I walked in thinking she is going to make it a nightmare but she was incredibly sweet and we both came to work. It's a great film with a great cast and a dream project to be a part of and why ruin it with stupid drama. Just be mature and get the job done.

Joy: So being here today there's no tension? Michael you mentioned in a recent interview things ended badly between you two so ???

Michael: I said that? haha.

ON WHAT DREW THEM TO THE FILM:
Barbara: The thing I want to know is, and I am sure people are going to be curious and enquire about your personal affairs, but this film, I saw it last night, and it is amazing. Simply phenominal. What did you think of it when you first read the script?

Michael: I was confused as hell! Haha. But I loved it. It was very complex and moving and I felt it could be a masterpiece and the great thing about this film is I feel it's like a tag team of two great filmmakers putting their egos aside and teaming up and saying let's make the best sci-fi movie ever. When you combine David Fincher's visuals, and his camera work with D.P. Crash, the guy who was our cinematographer, and all the innovative stuff they were doing, when you combine that with Chris Nolan's AMAZING script and the character's he's created and this mind bending world he's concocted that just wraps your mind into knots, you have a great great cinematic ride that we think people will find to be, unforgettable.

Mel: Yea I got that same reaction too. I had a ton of questions for Chris when I was on set and had to be explained every little thing, I am very analytical about stuff and I'm sure I was annoying him but I was just so curious about how it all works and you have to see the film, a couple of times really, to fully get the logic of certain things, but I was very impressed with the thought level that went into it.

ADRIENNE'S CURIOSITY AND DEPTH:
Sherri: And that fits your character too, because she is new to this world, so she is like the audience in a way, learning it all as we learn it.

Mel: Exactly.

Sherri: And there's some real depth to your character, there's a twist there, I don't wanna give it away...

Mel: Don't spoil it, but yea....yea she's something special. She's fiesty.

THEIR CHARACTERS AND THE PLOT:
Elisabeth: Yea that's what I wanted to get to, explain your characters a little bit, and the overall plot of the film, if you can, without spoiling too much. We had Leo and Rachel on yesterday and they were very vague so hopefully we can get a little more out of you guys haha...

Michael: Well we cannot say much of the plot but all I can tell you is that it involves Leo and Rachel's characters who play husband and wife, they invent something for the purpose of helping people but they cannot get the funding for it. The film opens with a very rich and powerful businessman whose talking to Leo and I. He wants to give Leo the funding independently but he wants Leo to do something very illegal first. He wants to use Inception for something a little more, sinister, and so Leo reluctantly accepts and he gets me involved because he can trust me. I went to college with them and now I am a professor of psychology at Columbia. I used to teach at NYU and Mel was one of my students at NYU. We had an affair, a very inappropriate teacher/student relationship and the school board found out and she left to study abroad, so when the movie starts, we find her in Paris. My character was fired from NYU and now I'm teaching at Columbia like I said. The Cobbs, Leo and Rachel, get me involved and then they somehow get Adrienne involved and me and her are forced to see each other again. But the problem is me and her have some, unresolved love issues, so that complicates things a bit.

Mel: Yea, what he said. (laughs). But yea I mean, Adrienne, she's very complicated. She doesn't really trust alot of people. She has this bitterness toward Trace, Mike's character, that comes through, she doesn't really want to be in this, mission, if you will. But she has another...

Elisabeth: An alterior motive...if you will...haha

Mel: Yea you could say that. I think at the end of it all though, she's just a girl, a girl caught in a very manipulative world who feels as though she's the victim, all her life really, and decides for once to stop being the victim and ya know, be the manipulator for once.

Elisabeth: And there's a constant uneasiness with your character, the audience never really knows what she's after, if she really loved Trace or if it was just an affair, you both played off each other really well and I think you did an amazing job with it, I think this is your best performance...

Mel: Thank you.

ON THEIR LOVE SCENE:
Barbara: Now everyone has been talking about your steamy love scene in this film. You guys are in a hotel...

Mel: No no no no, dont show it, please..

Barbara: Oh we're showing it. But you guys really go after it in this scene and some reviews have called the scene gratuitious and a little over the top for a film like this. It goes on for quite some time, I think this article stated it lasted almost 3 minutes or something crazy like that. And I mean, of course to watch it is very, exciting, but Michael you said in a conversation to me before the show this morning that, and I'm quoting you, "we may be getting worked up for all the wrong reasons" about these scenes. So why in your opinion are we getting all worked up?

Michael: Uh, I shouldn't have said that should I? No what I was trying to get across was that it seems to be almost shocking. Because of the amount of sexual, intensity.

Barbara: I'm quoting you. Do you want me to say it or do you want to say it?

Michael: I'll say it. I think that we're all getting all worked up over nothing and those who complain the most just aren't getting enough of it or not getting the right kind. I think that if we all got into bed and did our most carnal desires, we wouldn't be so shocked. I think as a country, and I'm sure Mel would agree with this since she has a love for pointing out American's flaws, I think we are very hypocritical when it comes to sex. I think we are sending mixed signals by how we say sex is bad, sex is wrong, it's dirty, it's this, it's that, yet what country leads the world in producing pornography and the sex trade? America. How messed up is that? We need to let go of this puritanical shame we have placed on sex and look at it as what it is, a way for two people, or three or however many, no matter their race or gender or sexual orientation, to express their love or lust for one another. You can agree or disagree but it's how I feel. In movies we can show violence and people getting their heads blown off and it's cool but all hell breaks loose and the morality police get all upset when a guy wants to bend a girl over and show her whose boss, it's ridiculous! (stands and bows as audience applauds)

ON THEIR RELATIONSHIP BEHIND THE SCENES:
Whoopi: So I have to ask this because people wanna know. Fans have been camping outside our studio since last night to see you guys, you saw the scene out there.

Mel: It was a madhouse! I didn't understand it. I thought the Queen or something was here.

Whoopi: But everyone wants to know, are the rumors true, I mean I don't know if I can call them rumors but Michael you said in your Complex magazine interview that you and Mel dated or had some sort of sexual relationship while filming and you wanted more, she didn't, you went back to drugs, it was this whole big thing, so I mean, elaborate on that...

Michael: You just had to put me on the spot, haha. No but yea I mean, Mel is a very very very very very private person and I know she hates when I spill my life out there, especially when it has to do with her...

Joy: Mel does it bother you, when he says private things about your relationship, past relationship with him?

Mel: I'd prefer he didnt, and I've told him that, but he's going to say what he wants to say. I cant stop him.

Barbara: Do you read his interviews? Do you follow things he says?

Mel: Every one.

Michael: Really?

Mel: Of course.

Michael: That's crazy, because I still read stuff she says, just out of curiosity, and it's always about Robert Pattinson or something, she never mentions me. So I always feel kind of pathetic like how I always keep mentioning her. Like wow people are gonna be like man after all this time he's still not over it, or whatever. But I try not to, people just keep asking...

Joy: That's interesting.

Michael: But like I was saying, I have always believed in being honest with the fans and the public because they are going to ask the questions and want to know the truth and they will find it out eventually so why hide it. I'm not ashamed of my life and the things I do, the mistakes I make. We all fall, we get back up and the honest truth of the matter is I fell in love with this girl sitting to the left of me. I loved her. I told her that. On the set. She chose to not be with me and I have to accept that, and I finally have. I am actually very happy with someone. And whether I am single or dating or whatever, I try to find happiness in that. For a long time, I had this need, this pathological obsessive need to be around girls, since I was maybe 14, to get their attention, be around them, and I am trying to lose that, control that, need.

Sherri: I really am glad and commend you for saying that because alot of men, especially young men these days, don't have the courage to admit what you just did, they call themselves players, but what they are is needy, just in a different way than women.

Michael: Exactly.

ON FUTURE PROJECTS:
Elisabeth: So what's next for you guys?

Michael: Um, James Bond. That starts shooting in 3 months so I gotta get in shape, start training, working on my accent and get going. I leave in two weeks for London. Backstage she (Mel) was actually telling me different cool places to check out over there. I can't wait.

Mel: Um, I have two more Twilight films to make next year and I have a film called Never Let Me Go coming out this fall as well as Welcome to The Rileys finally coming out soon and next year I also am doing a film with Kirsten Dunst called On The Road which we are shooting in Brazil so I'm really excited about that. So yea, busy girl.

Barbara: Well we thank you both for coming here and being with us today, the movie Inception is WONDERFUL and we highly suggest you all go see it, it comes out in theaters everywhere this Friday.

Meyers Back with Audrina Patridge?

Uh Oh!!!! I guess his recent arrest hasn't caused Michael to go into hiding. Remember back in September/October 2008 when he went into full on MTV HILLS MODE and was spotted leaving a nightclub in L.A. with The Hills stars Lauren Conrad and Audrina Patridge then dated Audrina for about six weeks. He appeared with her at the Body of Lies Hollywood premiere on Oct. 17, 2008 to support the film's star and his good friend, Leonardo DiCaprio. She then said they broke up when she realized he wasn't over Mel. Right at that point he got the tattoo on his neck. Anyway fast forward almost two years later and on July 9th we spot Meyers and Audrina on the beach in Malibu, CA. The two were seen cuddling, hugging, and playing in the ocean and on the sand and taking tons of pictures together. The pair were spotted later that same night at exclusive P.F. Chang's chinese bistro in West Hollywood. I guess they are back on, since they left hand in hand. Interesting....enjoy the pics (while she lasts lol...he goes through girls like underwear)...

Meyers Directs new True Hollywood Story music video

As you all know Michael directs music videos from time to time. He's done videos for himself, and rock bands such as Maroon 5, Secrets and Sunsets and now LA rock band True Hollywood Story. It's a pretty cool song. It is called "Ghosts" and is the first single from their second album "Screams from the Sun" which came out July 6. The lead singer of the group, Tito Craig (who released a Grammy nominated solo album in January called "Sing Tito Sing") ironically was romantically linked to Alley Vendetta at one point, lead singer of Secrets and Sunsets. She also dated Meyers for a while earlier this year. Apparently this video was shot last month sometime in Los Angeles. The video is very cool and features a couple who get in a car crash. The girl dies, the guy lives, and the guy is haunted by the girl who died. One lyric that caught my ear was at around the 3:00 minute mark where they say "all these girls fade together, you're the one, you're always on my mind, every night". This part of the video features fans of the band showing tattoos of lovers names on their bodies while dancing and singing along to the song, something Meyers himself did on his neck with Mel. A subtle message to her perhaps? Check out the video...

Michael and Mel Morley scheduled to be on The View 7/13

I dunno who decided to do this but this should make for some awesome (or awesomely awkward) Television! Apparently the big media blitz to promote Inception kicks off next Monday, July 12th. On Monday Leonardo DiCaprio will appear on The View along with co-star Rachel McAdams. That same night Leo will be on David Letterman and Mel Morley will appear on The Daily Show. On Tuesday July 13th, Meyers and Morley will appear on The View TOGETHER! Wow. I know Meyers said in his recent blog that he and Sarah Jean Russell were discussing ways to make the premiere bareable but now the two will be seated together for a 15-20 minute interview on semi-live TV! This should get interesting. I am sure they will bring up his recent arrest as well as his drama with Morley and how they got along on set. Very exciting news. Anyways, Meyers is not scheduled to do any other interviews or TV shows to promote the film but he IS scheduled to attend the premiere on July 16th in Hollywood.

P.S. On Wednesday July 14th, McAdams will be on Jay Leno and on Thursday July 15th DiCaprio will sit with Leno. Inception opens in theaters everywhere July 16th!

Michael, James Franco, and Two Girls Arrested!

Michael and best friend James Franco were arrested around 12:45 am last night near Beverly Hills, California along with two other females. According to TMZ, LAPD noticed a car driving erraticly on the freeway and pulled it over. The driver was Franco, who was clearly drunk. According to police, another female was in the front passenger side and was performing a "sex act" on Franco as he drove. In the backseat was Meyers and another female who were having sex. Marijuana was found on Meyers and prescription pills were found on the female Meyers was with. Franco and the girl in the front seat were both drunk, as was Meyers. The girl in the front with Franco has been identified as a 23 year old Los Angeles bartender named Christine O'Reilly and the girl in the backseat with Meyers has been identified as an adult film actress known as Candy Simone. The two police officers, one male and one female, stopped the foursome and the male officer searched the vehicle and found the pills, which Simone admitted were hers. Meyers reportedly spit on the female officer, and shouted obscenities at her which included "you're a stupid cunt, you're a chick, you're not even a real cop, go write parking tickets you piece of sh**." Franco was officially charged with DUI and O'Reilly with drunken and lude behavior. She also was charged with assaulting an officer and resisting arrest. Meyers was charged with marijuana possession and resisting arrest. The heaviest charge went to Simone who was charged with possession of a controlled substance. Meyers and Franco paid their own bails as well as the girls. We will have more news when we can, but this is NOT NOT good at all. Poor Michael can't catch a break. The month of June for the second straight year has not been good to him at all. Of course last year you all remember him AND James were in JFK airport in NYC and Meyers was arrested for attacking a TMZ camera man. And of course here are the creepy mugshots:

Christine O'Reilly

Candy Simone

James Franco

P.S. To add a little humor to an already bad situation, wow, Candy must have the most glamorous mugshot in the history of mugshots. Who does that girl's hair? (and that's AFTER getting backseat action, I can't imagine how she looks when she fixes herself up! lol). James looks pretty wasted and O'Reilly does too. Meyers' eyes look insanely coked up (i PRAY he isn't snorting the pixy powder again and thankfully wasn't caught with any) and I'm not feeling the faux-hawk look on him. In all serious-ness, with James Bond plus the Inception premiere coming up, MRM did NOT need this. It just feels like everything is spiraling out of control (just a week after the firing from his latest film) and now he's dragging the "never been in trouble with the law EVER" Franco down with him. Hope this doesn't violate his probation he got from the JFK airport incident, but if so, he could be looking at jailtime. Stay tuned....
