Meyers and Patridge Officially Broken Up; Audrina Statement

Well it's been confirmed. EOnline is reporting that Michael and Audrina have split up. Sounds like things were not going well. We learned last week the two had been fighting constantly on the set of the latest Bond film and it all came to a head on Thursday when they had to be seperated and asked to leave the film set. Now Patridge has made a statement through her representatives saying "There was no physical abuse or attack by either party. Just verbal insults. Every couple fights. We just couldn't see eye to eye on many things. One issue was us moving in together. He wanted it but I thought it was too soon. Another issue was me not trusting if he was truly over a certain ex(girlfriend). I think he's obsessed with her. I think Michael (Reese Meyers) needs major psychological help if he expects to find true love. I wish him the best." Gee, I wonder who this ex-girlfriend is she may be talking about LOL? Stay tuned for more info as we get it....

Michael Thrown Off QoS set for Argument with Audrina

Michael just cant seem to stay out of trouble! Reports from EOnline.com and PopEater.com have confirmed that on Aug. 26 on the set of Quantum of Solace in London, Meyers and girlfriend Audrina Patridge got into a heated argument that got them both booted off set. According to reports, Audrina has been spending time on set since filming began but the two have been fighting constantly on set. It got to a point in fact where it was so bad that director Chris Nolan apparently according to a source had to sit Meyers down in his office at one point to warn him that if the distractions continue, she'd be asked to leave. The two, who have been dating since May (and first dated back in October 2008, albeit very briefly), apparently got into a heated shouting match on Thursday night in Meyers' dressing room and things got out of hand, which is when crew stepped in. "We heard very loud shouting and screaming, from both him (Meyers) and her (Audrina)" says a grip who was working nearby when the commotion broke out. "We heard a frighteningly loud shout come from Michael and so we rushed in there and saw him and her in each other's faces, really going at it" adds another crew member. Three crew members seperated Meyers and Patridge and security was called. Both were asked to remove themselves from the set. "I just recall Audrina being very hysterical and angry, just absolutely livid, about, something, I have no idea what. And Michael was extremely angry as well and looked like he was ready to kill someone. He just didnt look right. They both just lost it. They snapped. Who knows what they would have done to each other if we hadnt broken it up?" says the grip, who chose to remain anonymous. As far as we know filming is not delayed and is scheduled to continue on Saturday, August 28. Stay tuned as I am SURE there is MUCH more to this story....

On Set Photos from the first week of Filming

We have a slew of pictures from behind the scenes of the first week of filming for Quantum of Solace. Many feature Michael, one has Judi Dench, another has Rachel Stevens. Here are a few of them.

Two New Bond Girls Join QoS

Two new British hotties have been added to the Quantum of Solace cast. Apparently Rachel Stevens now has some competition in the department of women vying for 007's affections. According to RadarOnline.com, model/reality TV star Danielle Lloyd and Rhona Mitra (Doomsday, Shooter, Underworld 3: Rise of the Lycans) have joined the film. Lloyd will be play a woman Bond beds in one of his early training missions before meeting Rachel Stevens' character and she will be someone who "teaches his character a valuable lesson". Mitra will reportedly play the girlfriend of the film's main villain and someone who is "very deadly, in a Xenia Onatopp kind of way" (obviously referring to Famke Jansen's Bond villain from GoldenEye who enjoyed killing men by choking them with her legs). Sounds cool! Looks like Quantum of Solace will have quite the list of beauties, which of course we should all come to expect from a Bond film. We will continue to update on casting news and more when we get the info. Filming has been going on in London for the past week.
Here is a photo of Danielle Lloyd:

Here is a picture of Rhona Mitra: Extra Tidbit: According to the same article, Rhona originally auditioned for the role of Tracy Meridian, which eventually went to Rachel Stevens. She begged Nolan to change his mind but he allowed her to read for the part of the villain's girlfriend and she blew him away.

New Bond Interviews with Meyers and Rachel Stevens

CommanderBond.Net, a huge and very trustworthy James Bond fansite, just recently put up a video featurette with interviews from Michael and Rachel Stevens where they talk about their characters and the franchise. It's just over 4 minutes long and seems pretty interesting. Rachel has a glow and elegance about her that I think will be perfect for her role. Interestingly, Meyers is speaking with a slight British accent throughout the video, obviously practicing for his role. It's the first time he has done so since Bend It Like Beckham (although he did an English accent in certain scenes from The Best Tears for fun) and it is quite amazing to hear it. He does it so well! The video also gives us an official release date for the film, June 17, 2011, which you see at the very end. Here's the video:

P.S. According to CommanderBond.net, filming for Quantum of Solace officially begins this Monday, August 16 in London and that the 'top secret' cast is complete (although they expect leaks to reveal who the other Bond girls are, as well as the villain, Moneypenny, etc. later this month). Since the site seems to be the first to get the scoop on Bond news we will be sure to update you on their updates. Cheerio mates (sorry couldn't resist lol) !

P.P.S. Rachel was married in 2008 and on May 6, 2010 gave birth to her first child, giving her less than four months to get in shape for the film.

New British Details Magazine Interview

Over in London, Michael just recently gave an interview for the September issue of British Details magazine. In it he mentions whether he'd work with Mel again and that this is the LAST interview he will talk about her (yea we heard that one before). He also talks about where he likes to take dates, why he loves England so much, his celebrity crushes, reveals 007's new love, his recent run in with the law, and his Who Am I? documentary. You can pick it up in stores at the end of the month but since we are so cool, we have the photos and interview here early for you. Check it out:

BD: You're currently one of the most, if not THE most, controversial Hollywood stars in the [United] States. How does that make you feel? Do you think it hurts or helps your career?

MRM: Controversy always sells. All news is good news. No such thing as bad publicity they say. I mean look at Chris Brown. A year ago he was public enemy number one and now he's winning fan polls on 106 & Park. There are so many celebrities in this town. Lindsay (Lohan). Mel Gibson. Lady Gaga. Brad (Pitt) and Angelina (Jolie). Someone is always making news and you got to keep yourself relevant. Tabloids. TMZ. Magazines. Internet. Blogs. E! News. Daily 10. There are so many avenues to get your story out there now. It's not like the early 90's. I know how to keep myself in the news. Haha.

BD: Why did you want to act?

MRM: Honestly? So I could know what it was like to kiss a girl.

BD: Seriously?

MRM: Yes. Dead serious. I felt acting would allow me the opportunity to do things I couldn't do in real life. I remember going on my first audition. I was 17. It was for a chewing gum commercial and I'd be kissing a girl in it. I remember walking into the waiting room and seeing all the females sitting waiting to audition for the role of the girl who was to kiss me. They were all ridiculously hot and that's when I realized, THIS is what I must do for a living!

BD: What was your first real acting job?

MRM: 25th Hour. My show Higher Ground premiered before that came out but I filmed 25th Hour first so that was my first time filming something real like that. I was an extra. I had one line. I play a Wall Street stock trader type. You see me early on in the film then you never see me again. I hated it.

BD: When did you realize you actually liked it?

MRM: Probably when I did Hostage. First off I got to meet Bruce Willis. That was a huge deal. But on top of that, I really got into that character. Every kid who got rejected in high school, whether you're a goth kid or a normal kid or whatever you are, you can relate to Mars. Was he demented? Yea a little bit, haha. But underneath that anger he had a heart. That was the first character I could relate to. His pain. Until then I had only played characters that were very far removed from the real me, but in Mars, I saw a bit of myself. That's when I realized this acting thing, can be sort of, self therapy. I liked that.

BD: You say you've never taken an acting lesson...not including what you did in The Best Tears, right?

MRM: Right. Never. And I hardly use the crap they taught us there (on The Best Tears). I think I was doing pretty well before them. I just think you either got it or you don't. You can't teach it. Now don't get me wrong. People who are already good can work at it and learn and get better. I'm getting better all the time. But if you are no good, the camera sees it. The camera never lies.

BD: What does it take to be a good actor?

MRM: Honestly, I don't think you have to be the best looking or even the most talented. You just have to be interesting. You're either interesting or you're not. If you are, casting directors will hire you and audiences will want to watch you. Oh and a little luck won't hurt either.

BD: Did you enjoy making Inception? How was it being around Mel again? She's one of our own. Pride of Essex.

MRM: I enjoyed it alot. But being around her was very difficult. I mean, it was exciting but unhealthy at the same time. I mean, you don't put an alcoholic around a bottle of Vodka for 5 weeks and tell him don't touch it. He's going to either think about drinking but stop himself or he will relapse. In my case, I relapsed. I thought I was over it but I wasn't. I fell again. Got burned. Again.

BD: Would you work with her again?
MRM: Mel? No. I think I've tortured myself enough. I'm above it now. I'm not going to go for strike three. I'm done chasing her and this is the last and I mean LAST interview I talk about her. I'm done. I mean it. I don't want to spend my life pining over someone who doesn't want me. It's her loss. I'm a funny, caring and good looking guy and alot of girls would love to be with me. I was reading Tyrese's twitter and he puts really deep and inspirational quotes on there sometimes. He wrote one that really spoke to me, it went something like "stop spending time with people who put you down and tell you you're not good enough, stop trying to win their approval. It's a waste of time and energy. spend time with people who love you for who you are. be where you're celebrated not tolerated".

BD: One of your first films was with her cousin, Kiera Knightley. Bend It Like Beckham. Now you are here to begin filming James Bond. This is your first time shooting a movie here in London since filming Beckham...

MRM: Yea I missed it. My grandmother on my mom's side is half British and spent most of her life here and growing up always told me stories about how great it was. I hope to own a home here one day soon and this will be my getaway spot. I love it here.

BD: What do you love so much about England?

MRM: The women. Their accents. The weather. It's always rainy and autumn-like, so it fits my mood, haha. I just love the laid back nature and vibe to it. Very opposite to LA. It's just a breath of fresh air.

BD: Speaking of women, the dating scene out here has changed quite a bit over the years. It used to be a walk in the park, picnics, or a nice pub for a pint. Now everyone meets on Facebook and then gets together at the Starbucks or tea house and they text. Is it like that in the states?

MRM: It's getting there, yea. I personally like restaurants. That's my favorite place to take a date. I love it more than anything. Taking a pretty girl out to eat at a five star restaurant. That's one of the things I love about LA. The great restaurants. Mexican (food), Italian, Asian, whatever you want, it's there. It's quiet. You can talk to each other. But sadly I'm kind of over the whole dating thing.

BD: Why?

MRM: I just get sick of the whole game. You have to lie. All the time. You can never truly say what you want. If you go to a chick and say Hey I want to Fuck You, you'll get slapped. You have to do the whole "hi, how would you like to get something to eat, let's talk, blah blah blah" thing. For weeks! I like to get straight to the point. I'm not saying I want someone easy. I just need someone who is spontaneous ya know? Someone who can go with the flow. I want to be on a first date and have a girl look at me and go, Let's Make Out, right now!
BD: On that topic, what do you look for in a woman exactly?
MRM: I love everything. Sexiness. The way she walks. Her ass. Her lips. Her eyes. The way she looks at you. Personality. Open minded to new things, new experiences. Every girl has something about them that is different that can be sexy. It just depends. Mel had eyes, a stare, that could burn right through you. She gets it from Kiera. She emulates her alot. Subconsciusly or consciously. I don't know. A sexy walk is the best. You can tell alot about someone by the way he or she walks. Dressing well is very important too. I love a chick with a hot sense of fashion. That's why I like Audrina. She wears great stuff. There's nothing sexier than a woman who knows how to dress well. Accents drive me crazy. Kristen Bell's southern accent knocked me out the first time I heard it. It made me feel at home. Feel safe. Loved. Intelligence, I just realized though, is my biggest turn on. Depth I should say. A girl who is deep. I realized that with Mel, even though I've dated much hotter girls, I was so stuck on her (Mel) because I connected to her mind, her words, her opinions on things, her poetry. It connected us in a mental and spiritual way. Sasha (Grey) is incredibly deep too. She is a film buff. She could school (Roger) Ebert. She knows her stuff. But people write her off because she does porn. They are clueless. Smart is smart. No matter your profession. But having said that, it did play an issue. I ask myself sometimes, why did I love one and not the other? Well it's pretty simple. Sasha and Mel were the deepest girls I've ever met, but one's idea of fun was writing moving poetry and walking alone in the rain. The other's idea of fun was having a gangbang with 15 guys in a warehouse. So one was easier to see myself with.

BD: Who are your celebrity crushes?
MRM: I have a ton. I watch alot of reality TV, I admit. I love Roxy and Erin from The City, it's a Hills spinoff show. There was this girl Ashley from MTV's Real World, the Washington DC season. She was dope. I love Shannen Doherty from 90210. I love Rocsi from 106 & Park. She smelled so good when I interviewed on that show that day. She's sexy. Meagan Good is the shit. Paula Patton could get it. Robin Thicke watch out! Haha. But yea, there's so many. Cassadee Pope from Hey Monday. Kat Von D. She did my Mel tattoo. We filmed it for her LA Ink show. We've become close friends. You see me pop in once in a while and toss her clients. Singer Jessie James. I watched an interview on YouTube where she said she liked me. She's hot. But yea, I could go on all day.

BD: You mentioned The Hills. Are you and Audrina Patridge an official couple now?

MRM: Yes.

BD: That was easy.

MRM: Who knows what tomorrow will bring. My relationships don't seem to last so I might as well enjoy the company of anyone who will have me until I screw it up.

BD: Let's talk recent events. Your arrest in June with James Franco. Drug possession and spitting on the officer. What's happening with that? Can you talk about it?

MRM: Yea, I just don't want to, haha. No, it's in court right now. They are taking their time with it. I have a new lawyer, her name is Marianne Wong. She's great. She's handling it for me and keeps me up to date with everything. I have no idea when I will be due in court but I will probably pay a fine or something. Whenever they need me there I'm there. Trust me, it's the last time I do ...that... in a car again, haha.

BD: What happened? What were you guys thinking?

MRM: Okay. James was filming 127 Hours when I got announced for Bond so we never had a chance to celebrate. He finally got some time off at the same time as me and we wanted to do something before he went to Australia to shoot Rise of the Apes and I head out here. So we went to a bar and I got super wasted. He was my designated driver. He wasn't supposed to have too many. I guess he went a little over his limit. For an Italian he drinks like he's Irish. He can throw it back, way more than me. I've never been much for the sauce but I'll sip every once in a while. Anyway, I had a female, companion, with me. He was friends with the bartender who was hooking us up that night. She got off her shift and we were all headed back to his place when we decided to get a little frisky in the car. One thing led to the next, next thing I know I'm in handcuffs. Not a fun night. I just feel bad for J (James), I mean his mom was furious! He'll be alright.

BD: Speaking of James, he directed your new documentary "Who Am I?" which chronicles your exiting rehab in early 2009 and the whole "retirement from acting to sing" phase. The teaser poster is out. September 10th is the release date. Will that be worldwide in all theaters or just select theaters? Is it a comedy? Whose idea was this?

MRM: All I can say is when the time comes you will see what it's about and we may talk more. And yes it's only going to be in select theaters. New York and LA I think. But I will make sure the Brits get a copy.

BD: Ok, thanks. Now down to business. You are here to make a big announcement. You and Chris Nolan have found your main Bond Girl.

MRM: Yes we have. Rachel Stevens. She is stunning, talented, and absolutely everything you could want in a Bond Girl. I can't wait.

BD: Rachel Stevens as in S Club 7 Rachel Stevens?

MRM: Yes. She will do great. I met her yesterday. She is hotter in person that she was on TV and yes I was a fan of S Club 7. I watched every episode. S Club goes to Miami, S Club in LA. All that. I loved it. I had the stupidest crush on her. She is sexy as hell! Now she's my Bond Girl.

BD: When will we find out the rest of the cast?
MRM: We want to keep as much as hush hush as possible. That's Chris' (Nolan) plan. It's going to be a great film and I can't wait to start shooting.

BD: What do you think will make this Bond stand out from the others?

MRM: It's going to be more real, more gritty, more acting, more action, more intense, more emotional, we will learn the childhood and truth about Bond and why he is the way he is, and mostly, it's got me. The sexiest Bond ever!

Sasha Grey Says Meyers Was Into 'Whipping'

Okay this is just weird. Over the weekend, TMZ reported some quotes from a recent upcoming interview porn star Sasha Grey did with Playboy magazine (September 2010 issue). If you recall, she dated Michael during the summer of 2007 and the two briefly re-connected in August-September 2008 prior to him meeting Audrina. During the interview Grey was asked what Michael was like as a boyfriend and a lover and she replied: "He was great. To this day I've yet to have someone treat me the way he did. He was kind, considerate, romantic even. It was new for me. But the best part was the sex. As gentle and caring as he could be outside the bedroom, he was that much of an animal inside it. And I've fucked alot of guys. So for me to say he's given me some of the best sex I've ever had is saying something. And at first I was worried he'd be intimidated by me. By what I'm into. The bondage, the S&M, all that, but he was into it. Not the bondage or S&M stuff, but kinky stuff. He was into it, he was experimental. He loved to get rough. That was our thing. Choking, spitting, slapping, spanking, whipping. He got into that. He actually came up with that on his own. He was telling me about this movie he saw called Doomsday with Rhona Mitra. And in it she gets captured by the bad guys and they string her up and start whipping her. Just lashing her. Hard. And he said he got turned on by it. (The fact he liked that) shocked him. So we tried it." Okay wow. That's pretty much all she says about Meyers in the interview but this raises alot of questions. We knew Meyers was very sexual but this takes it to a whole new level of "kinky". We know Sasha is very "unique" in what she is into and ENJOYS getting hit during sex (she even drank her own urine in one scene) and she says everything Meyers and her did was consensual and enjoyed by both parties. Wow. I guess this also bring back into question him pulling off his belt at JFK airport during the altercation with the TMZ camera man in June 2009 and what led to that. Maybe this is something he gets off on. Who knows? Post in the comments section what you think of this.

P.S. Surprisingly Grey mentioned that her and Michael still keep in contact and send each other texts or MySpace e-mails at least once a month, but haven't hung out or seen each other in person in almost two years. She also calls Meyers her "soul mate". Strange....
