Photos and Video from Inception New York Premiere

Here are some pictures and a video clip interview from the Inception premiere in New York City Tuesday night. In the photos we see the whole cast, director David Fincher, writer Chris Nolan, and celebs such as Drew Barrymore (hugging Mel Morley) and Michael's date/girlfriend Audrina Patridge. You can see the rest of the pictures HERE at Collider.com. There is also a video clip featuring scenes from the movie and interviews from the red carpet. Leonardo DiCaprio is in the video as well. Meyers is with Audrina during his segment of the video as he is interviewed by Kimberly Caldwell, who you may remember as a former American Idol contestant. Meyers talks about how the role affected his dreams during filming and how him and Audrina got lost on their way to the premiere. Check it out:

P.S. Director David Fincher made a pretty interesting comment on the red carpet about Meyers and Morley's performances. When asked how was it working with such an all star cast he says "A gift. I mean, with Leo, you don't even really have to direct him. He knows how to do this. He's very instinctual. He is in my opinion, in the vein of the classic leading men Hollywood's seen in the past. He truly carries the film and Rachel, she really grounds the film with her humility and kindness and general sweet nature. Her morals are what sets her apart from the other three. Leo, Michael, and Mel are all very driven. Driven by their ambition. Rachel just wants to do the right thing. I think she was great and we asked her to do alot, emotionally but she pulled it off. Every woman in the audience will be able to relate to her and every man will want to fall in love with her. She really drives this movie as the conscience of this team, this core group of characters we follow. And Mike and Mel, I mean what can I say? They are powerhouses. Mel is timid at first but once you penetrate that, wall she has, there is a bulldog underneath there. She's very articulate and great at improvisation which you need to be with Michael. And their experience working together in the past I think helped with that alot. I mean an actor like (Michael), with his intensity and vulnerability, and open volitility and reckless emotion, you don't restrain that, you let him go, you let him fly. And he went (off) in this movie. And I normally don't let actors go off script or adlib, ever. But I let him and Mel in this and for good reason. There are arguments (Trace and Adrienne) have in this film, where they go off script, they just riff off each other and you can tell, they weren't acting. It's so real. And it makes their love story, their tragic love story, that much more riveting. You feel the pain, the anger. We've all been there. Love can drive you insane". Anyway, check back tomorrow to check out photos and hopefully video from tonight's Hollywood premiere in Los Angeles, CA.
