In Depth and Revealing Interview on Howard Stern with Gina and Michael

This morning shock jock radio host Howard Stern had a telephone interview with MMA star and actress Gina Rage where she announced her official return to MMA fighting and discussed her life and rise to stardom. Halfway through the interview her relationship with Meyers came up and Gina puts the phone on speaker to reveal Michael is there with her in the background and the two answer questions about their new relationship and Michael is grilled on past women in his life by Howard. Here is the complete interview:

Stern: Good morning Gina.
Rage: Morning, morning. Thanks for having me.
Stern: My God that's a sexy voice.
Rage: Haha, ok. Thank you.
Stern: We have on the line world famous MMA fighter Gina Rage everybody.
Rage: Thanks for having me on. I'm a big fan.
Stern: Really?
Rage: Yes. It's about time you had me on.
Stern: Well you never asked my dear. I would have preferred you came in but you had some lame excuse. What's your excuse?
Rage: No, it's not lame. Um, I been dealing with these headaches for a while. They're pretty serious and I can't travel or do stuff when they happen. I am actually after this headed to a doctor to see what's going on. They give me the strongest medicine possible and nothing helps.
Stern: Bullshit. You're scared of me, admit it.
Rage: Haha, yea Howard I'm so scared of you.
Robin: Do you think the cause might be the fact that you get hit in the head repeatedly for a living?
Stern: Yea have you ever considered that a possible cause for brain damage?
Rage: Haha. Yea you might be on to something. No it's not brain damage. At least I hope it's not.
Robin: Yea don't wanna wind up like Rocky.
Stern: Yea Rocky Balboa in, which one was that where he started to get dimensia or something? I dunno. One of those freakin' sequels. But yea Gina how long have you been dealing with this?
Rage: For a few years now. It happens like maybe, 15 days out of the month. I get really nervous and anxious and kinda moody when it happens. Worse than any period.
Robin: Ouch.
Stern: So you're a big deal in your universe. The first woman star of the MMA, which is kind of like the UFC for those out there unfamiliar. You're on the covers of magazines, just did an action movie where you starred. You're really blowing up now.
Rage: Haha, Yea it's been a whirlwind kind of two years I'd say. Things are happening. I'm just enjoying the ride. Taking every opportunity that comes. It's been a blessing for sure.
Stern: For those people who aren't familiar with you, as briefly as you can because I have alot to get through today, tell us your whole life story.
Rage: Wow. My whole life story? Um. Ok. I was born in Austin, Texas on April 20, 1982. I'm the second of 3 girls. My parents split up when I was around 13 or 14. At that point me and my little sister Ashley moved to Vegas with my mom.
Stern: Why Vegas?
Rage: My mom got a job out there working for a casino.
Robin: Your dad played for the Dallas Cowboys correct?
Rage: Yea! Yea he did. That's why he stayed in Texas.
Stern: Was he cheating on your mom alot? Be honest.
Rage: He wasn't the best husband to her, I'll say that.
Stern: Yea happens with professional athletes alot. Continue.
Rage: Yea so, we moved to Vegas and I started to get into a lot of trouble.
Stern: What kinda trouble?
Rage: Fighting. Mostly at school. Drugs. My older sister was in college at the time and she became really addicted to coke and she was my hero and so I thought it would be cool to try it so I did. I didn't become hooked but my grades dropped, I was a mess. Skipping class. Hanging with the wrong crowd, you name it. So anyway one day my mom tells me Alicia, my big sister, had an overdose. She survived, she's alive and well to this day thank God, but it was a close call and being there with her in that hospital looking at her and her body and what she had done to herself, it really really opened up my eyes to what drugs can do to you. Drugs are not cool man. So I had a gym teacher suggest I channel my aggression to wrestling and fighting so I did. And from there I got a trainer and after senior year I started training professionally and joined MMA 2 years after that and within 1 year I was champion. Ever since then...well like they say, the rest is history, and here I am.
Stern: You seem kinky. I've seen your interviews. Done some research on you. A little bit, not alot. But i hear you're a freak. Are you a nympho like everybody says? Is that true?
Rage: Haha. That's my trade secret, only for me to know.
Robin: Sounds like a yes to me.
Stern: Oh man you're hot. I'm looking at some of your pictures right now.
Robin: Uh oh, you know what that means.
Stern: I'm pleasuring myself right now as we speak. Would that bother you? Would that creep you out if I was beating off to you as I talk to you?
Rage: Um, whatever floats your boat.
Stern: I'm kidding of course. So you're here to make a big announcement right?
Rage: Yes I am calling in to announce officially that after much speculation and decision and encouragement and thinking...I am coming back to the ring. I am training right now in LA and I am hoping to get a fight in by the end of the summer.
Stern: So after a two year break, you're back.
Rage: I'm back baby!
Robin: Wow. Heard it here first, people.
Stern: Now this is exciting news for your fans right because you been gone a long time and your last fight was a huge loss right?
Rage: Yea it's been about 2 years now and my last fight I lost a title bout to Sylvia 'Cyborg' Santos and there was alot of hype around it and I lost. I had a big swollen black eye. I was depressed for a long time.
Stern: And it was around that time you got cast in the new movie 'Scarred' right? How'd that come about? That must've come out of left field for you.
Rage: Yea it did. I get this call from Hollywood ya know? Taylor Lee, a female director. She's done films like Popular 3, Requiem for a Dream, Resident Evil, wanted to meet me. Make me an action star. I didn't wanna at first but my agent convinced me to do it and one thing led to the next. I became a whole new person. I trained with Navy SEALs. Learned about memorizing lines, rehearsing with my co-stars, took acting lessons, learned how to hit marks, movie fighting versus real fighting, eye lines with actors and the camera, you name it. I remember everyday on that set. It changed my life and was such an amazing crazy experience. I made so many great friends. It all happened so fast. And here we are. But I'm jones-ing to get back in the ring. I'm ready now.
Stern: Was there ever any doubt that you'd come back.
Rage: I'm not gonna lie there was but someone really special in my life made me realize that this is my first love. This is what got me here. So for any fans out there who think she lost her edge or all she's ever wanted was fame or filming a movie and hanging out with actors made her soft or she lost herself in Hollywood and all this bullshit. It's so not true. I just needed the time to collect myself. Remember I was undefeated when that happens and sometimes a loss humbles you in ways you don't expect and it takes time for your ego to heal and I am healed, fully charged, and ready to go.
Robin: Now you mention someone special in your life and hanging out with actors. There's been rumors and now photos...
Stern: Yea I wanted to get to that. Now is it official, since we're making official announcements today, is it true, you are dating, the one and only, Michael Reese Meyers?
Rage: Wanna ask him yourself? He's right here.
Stern: Is he really?
Rage: Yea. I'm at his house.
Robin: My my my. Two interviews for the price of one. This is big right here.
Stern: Well put him on.
Meyers: (muffled) am..i...on?
Rage: Is it on speaker? I'm trying to put it on speaker...
Meyers: Hello. Howard Stern.
Stern: My man. What's going on?
Meyers: Everything is great my friend. The sun is shining. God is good. Health, love, and success. I just wanna say first off the top I'm a big fan and after all these years I have always wanted to be a guest on your show. So this is an honor and congrats on America's Got Talent. You're gonna kill it.
Stern: Well first off thank you, thank you for the kind words. I am looking forward to making a mockery of that show and everything it stands for. No I'm kidding. I will be on my best behavior. I will. It's a great show and it will be alot of fun. But in all seriousness. You're one of my favorite actors dude.
Meyers: Thank you. Thank you.
Stern: I have wanted you on for years. You are one of those guys. And I hate to talk about your sexual exploits in front of your new woman...
Rage: Haha, it's okay. I already know everything. He's told me all the dirty laundry.
Robin: Oh really?
Rage: Yes.
Stern: Or so you think...
Rage: Haha, no I know.
Meyers: Communication is the key to any healthy relationship. I'm an honest guy and my life has been an open book anyway. Everyone knows that.
Robin: Yea I mean it's kind of hard for anyone NOT to know what you been through. All your stuff has been out in the press for years. You're one of the most talked about and one of the most forthcoming celebrities out there.
Stern: Yea Michael your sexual past is pretty much an open book. And I have always seen you as up there with guys like Benicio Del Toro, Mark Wahlberg, Colin Farrell, George Clooney, who else am I forgetting? I mean DiCaprio, all these guys who just get tail man. If you're dick could talk bro, haha...
Meyers: Haha. Oh man...
Stern: If only. If ONLY I had your life bro.
Meyers: A lot of up and downs man, it's been a journey that's for sure.
Stern: Hey man with these ups I'll take the downs. Here's a list of who you've banged or dated and you tell me what's true and what isn't okay?
Meyers: Haha, alright.
Stern: Kristen Bell.
Meyers: True. She was my first love and my first girlfriend. Together for three years. Great girl.
Stern: Megan Fox.
Meyers: True.
Stern: How was she?
Meyers: Ehh, we were both young, like 21, 22, when we dated. Well I was 21, 22. She was like, ever younger, so. But she was fun. Fun girl. Looks like her and Brian are really happy so I wish them nothing but the best. He's a good guy.
Stern: Good guy? He banged your girl while you guys were dating! She cheated on you with him!
Robin: Yea I was about to say, how does that constitute as a 'good guy'?
Meyers: Hey listen, he who hasn't sinned cast the first stone. I've been that guy...and worse.
Stern: Yea, true. I forgot, and we're gonna get to that too.
Meyers: Yea so, hey man. Alls fair in love and war I guess. If I had the swag, the juice at the time. She wouldn't have done it. Obviously he had something I didn't at the time that she needed and yea maybe she handled it wrong but she did what she did and they are together now so obviously it was something real, not just some fling. 6 years they been together now.
Robin: Has it been that long?
Meyers: Yep. So they were meant to be. Let it be. I don't hate on anyone's game.
Stern: Good way to look at it. Okay whose next here? Oh yea Scarlet Johansson. I've always wondered. You guys did that Brian DePalma black and white movie together and people said....ehh, there might be some hanky panky goin' on here.
Meyers: As much as I'd love to say yea to that one, it's a no.
Stern: Really?
Meyers: Really. I was with Kristen when we filmed that.
Robin: Oh you were taken.
Meyers: Yea. Never cheated and never will.
Robin: I bet Gina's like 'better not'.
Rage: Haha yea.
Stern: Yea Mike be careful with this one, she's dangerous.
Meyers: Oh I know, haha.
Stern: But you guys has some steamy love scenes in that movie, I remember.
Robin: Oh yea.
Meyers: The best.
Stern: You wanted to hit that didn't you? Don't lie.
Meyers: Of course I'm a guy. But she's a great chick. We had a good time making that film. I wish we could have gone on to become good friends but it goes that way sometimes. Sometimes you go your separate ways after you wrap and that's that.
Robin: Yea and then she went on to marry Ryan Reynolds for like 6 months, then hooked up with old ass Sean Penn and now do you see who she's with?
Meyers: No I haven't seen, who?
Robin: Some ugly plain looking guy. He's like her accountant or something. I saw pictures of them on a beach recently and I'm thinking, this pair does not match, haha.
Stern: Yea she's looking for someone with no ego. Someone who needs someone as hot as her. Ryan Reynolds and Sean Penn were too famous for her. She strikes me as the type who needs all the attention on her. But that's my two cents.
Stern: Okay. Sasha Grey. We know you tagged her right?
Meyers: Yes we dated for a while.
Stern: What's that like? Dating a porn star?
Meyers: Never again, haha!
Robin: Didn't like it.
Meyers: No, they're just very weird people. I mean all women are, weird, complicated in their own way but adult actresses are just screwed up people man. I mean I got nothing but love for that girl and believe me I got my own issues too, we all do. But they are not good to be in a committed relationship with when they are still working. It's just impossible to not care...that they are doing that, at least for me. Then you gotta make it an open relationship just to be fair to both sides, but at that point, with busy schedules and everything, you realize, wow, I'm having sex more with other people than I am my actual girlfriend, that's not a real relationship. Not one I wanna be in.
Stern: Wow so she was still working when you all were together?
Meyers: Yea.
Stern: Yea not cool. Okay. Obviously the big one. Mel Morley of course.
Meyers: Yes yes.
Stern: Boy I bet you're sick of talking about her huh?
Meyers: A little bit, a little bit...haha.
Stern: Well good cause I wanna ask you a few questions about her...
Robin: Hahahaha.
(everyone laughs)
Stern: No I'm kidding. She's yesterdays news right?
Meyers: I haven't thought about her in a looong time. Which is a good thing. In fact she seems like a distant memory to me. And I never thought I'd ever say that. Because even though she hasn't been in my life for almost 2 years and it's been like over 4 years or something since that all went down, her spirit and the memory of her never left me and of course in interviews she always came up so it was hard to move on...
Robin: Plus getting that tattoo didn't help things I bet.
Meyers: Ha, no it did not.
Stern: Yea that wasn't the brightest move my man. I can't help but think some drugs were involved in that decision.
Meyers: Alot of drugs. Haha. In fact to be honest I really don't remember much of 2008 past the month of May.
Stern: Really?
Robin: You were that messed up huh?
Meyers: Self medicating at it's finest...or, well, worst.

Stern: Then you made that sex tape with Leighton Meester. Now I don't follow her but isn't she one of those Gossip Girls.
Robin: Yes she's an actress and that's her show. The show that made her famous.
Stern: Whatever, I don't care. You banged her good on that tape right?
Meyers: Apparently so.
Stern: And you released that on purpose right? Admit it. She made it seem like she wasn't into you and you dropped that after the fact to show her, 'Hey bitch, we fucked. And now you wanna act like I wouldn't have a chance'?
Meyers: All I gotta say is karma is a bitch.
Stern: You gave her the Fred Durst. Remember there was that rumor he banged Britney.
Robin: Britney Spears.
Stern: Yea back when she was hot. And she denied it. See what happens ladies. Just admit it.
Robin: Denial gets you nowhere.
Stern: Okay whose next? Miley Cyrus. You hit that right?
Meyers: Haha, What? No!!!!
Stern: No? I heard you did.
Meyers: No. What happened was we did a music video together. She asked me to star in a video for a song of hers. That's it.
Stern: You guys friends?
Meyers: I haven't seen her since we shot that video. Sweet girl though.
Stern: Audrina from the Hills?
Meyers: Yes. We dated.
Stern: There were rumors you assaulted her. True? Not true?
Meyers: We had a bad fight on the set of Quantum of Solace, my first James Bond film. She ended up getting injured but that was through no fault of my own and even she came out and said I didn't hit her so, that's just more press rumor nonsense.
Stern: She wasn't too bright was she? Kind of a dumb bucket of rocks wasn't she? Be honest Mike!
Meyers: Haha. Um, she was a nice girl. Not gonna get a scholarship to Harvard anytime soon...but hey, neither am I. So hey. But best of luck to her. She just had a baby and I wish her all the best.
Robin: Oh did she?
Meyers: Yea last year. Baby boy.
Robin: I did not know that. Why didn't I hear about that?
Stern: Because no one cares. She's not famous.
Robin: Haha. Not A-list.
Stern: Okay. Let's see here now. The list just goes on and on. Oh yes Famke Janssen. She was married when you two hooked up right?
Meyers: Yes she was. Guilty as charged.
Stern: That must have been a ride huh? They say older women do it better.
Meyers: She has swag in the bedroom I will give her that. She does not fuck like a woman her age. She was fun. And funny thing is we did a movie together like a year or two before that happened. Taken, with Bruce Willis. But we never met. She was in LA doing her scenes and all my scenes were in Paris. Strange how that happened.
Stern: That's Hollywood baby. So uh...Olivia Wilde?
Meyers: No. She just got divorced like last year I think. She's been married forever. No way. Good friends though. Real good friends. Working on doing a movie together. Our second movie. We did one way back in 2006 called Malibu's Most Wanted and we had a fight scene where she permanently scarred my nose. So I have that to remember her by. But yea we never dated or hooked up or anything, just great friends. But yea I love her, she's amazing.
Stern: Keira Knightley.
Meyers: Like a sister, but no.
Stern: Come on you two gush over each other in interviews.
Meyers: Nope. She and I both starred in each other's first ever movie.
Robin: Bend It Like Beckham.
Meyers: Yes.
Robin: Loved that film.
Meyers: And last year we did a film called If I Had You, which I really loved. But while filming that I was dating someone else and she was going on dates with her new boyfriend she has now.
Stern: Rosie Huntington.
Meyers: Yes.
Stern: She's Australian right?
Meyers: British.
Stern: Oh my bad. Hot as hell though. Lookin' at the photos of her. God I wish I was you for a day. Can I be you for a day?
Meyers: Go ahead, haha.
Stern: Who else here? Who else. Oh, Demi Lovato. That was a crazy little move. I was shocked when you two hooked up. Put out that little drug tape in Vegas. Making out. Fun times or something more?
Meyers: Just fun times. Nothing more. Wish her all the best.
Stern: Umm......Mila Kunis.
Meyers: Yes we did date. For like...a month, haha.
Stern: That must've been a boring month.
Meyers: Haha. No comment.
Stern: I dunno what it is about her, but I just don't find her all that funny...at all, or all that hot. Is it me? I know guys who go gaga over her and I just don't get it. What did you see in her Mike? Or was it just an easy piece of ass that was throwing herself at you, cause I read she drove to the hoop pretty hard with you.
Meyers: Uh, yea I'd say that. She was coming on pretty strong. But it just wasn't there. Nice girl though, but not for me.

Stern: Alright fair enough...so I'm just gonna ask you what was the whole deal was with this Rachel McAdams chick and then we will get into you and Gina. What happened with you two? Because, and correct me if I'm wrong, she seems like one of those 'my shit dont stink' uppity bitches. I wanna be the next Julia Roberts. I heard she's arrogant. Am I right or wrong? Be honest Mike!
Meyers: Who Rachel?
Stern: Yea. Notebook girl.
Meyers: Haha. You know, I think the less I say about that situation the better.
Robin: Oh come on. Give us something. Please!
Stern: Bro, it's just us here talking. No millions of listeners.
Meyers: Haha. Okay. Ya know, she's not like you said. She actually is a very nice girl. Not the goody goody everyone thinks she is, but not a bad girl either. She's real. And we had a great friendship but that's all it was meant to be and that's how I see it now.
Stern: But you wanted more.
Meyers: Of course, but she didn't.
Stern: Was it your history with drugs, the women you think she was afraid of? You have a bad rep.
Meyers: All of the above. Everyone was in her ear. Family. Friends. Telling her I'm 'bad news, I'd be bad for her image'. Blah blah blah. She is very very image conscious. She will never do anything to ruin her brand. Her 'America's Sweetheart' thing she has going on. And that's her choice. But I could tell in conversations and time we spent, me and her, we had...something. But she never let it develop.
Robin: Yet she dates Ryan Gosling for like 4 or 5 something years.
Meyers: Well he's different. I mean listen, I love the guy. We did a movie together and talk about making another one all the time. He's a friend of mine now. One of the coolest dudes I know and the only actor in my age group I really even consider truly GREAT, like someone I look up to ya know? But he and I are not cut from the same cloth. He's very mellow and never goes out or parties. He's a stay at home kinda guy. Doesn't like the limelight.
Stern: But you're in the clubs, picking up chicks, doin' heavy drugs, driving Ferraris.
Meyers: That's the perception yes. And at a time, yes, all those things. Although I am sober now. Thankfully. But like I said, Ryan fits an image that Rachel likes. Girls like him because he's the 'safe bad boy' ya know? They want someone with an edge but someone who really at the end of the day is still nice enough to take home to mom and dad. Ryan was that guy. He's never been arrested. He's never had a rehab. He's never been accused of assaulting two ex-girlfriends. He's never dated a porn star. He's never been associated with heavy drugs. No sex addiction. No sex tape.
Stern: He never beat up a photographer and threatened to kill them.
Meyers: Haha yea, exactly. Nothing. He has none of my baggage. OK he smokes, he wears his hoodie, he rocks his little beard from time to time. Talks in that low mumbly tone. And girls think he's 'mysterious'. And that's enough for them. He tries to stay outta the limelight and that's good for him. His personal demons, if he even has any, have never been on full display like mine. And maybe that's a part of it. She likes to keep her life behind closed doors, as many celebs do, and my life is just too out there and too much of an open book. Look, those two, they had a great love for a long time, but whatever happened between them happened. He's with someone new, I have no clue what she's doing. And to be honest, I don't care. She can do her. It's her life. I'm not in it anymore. Sometimes you got to just let go.
Stern: There ya go. So let me ask Gina, if she's still there...
Rage: I'm here.
Robin: Still with us?
Meyers: Yea sorry for jacking your interview babe.
Rage: It's okay babe.
Robin: Aww, they call each other babe. You know it's real.
Stern: Yea that's what I want to get to now, is how the heck did the two of you meet?
Rage: You wanna tell the story? You tell it.
Meyers: Yea, it's crazy...um...I'm friends on Facebook with Taylor Lee. She directed me in Popular 3 and we worked together on The Best Tears. So one day I log on and see she has posted up a new trailer for her latest film Scarred. I check it out and it was the first time I had seen or even heard of Gina Rage. Had NO IDEA who she was. I dont follow MMA or UFC or any of that. I like NFL football and NBA. Big Lakers and Kobe fan and big Peyton Manning/Colts fan. And sometimes I catch NASCAR. Dale Jr. is my guy. But that's it. So I love sports but never got into the fighting sports. Boxing is one of my faves, always has been, but after Arturo Gatti died I kinda lost my obsession with it. So I see Gina and I'm like 'wow who is this girl'? So I do all the usual stuff. I googled her, wikipedia, you name it. Thought she seemed interesting and had an interesting story. But nothing more than that I sent her a request on Facebook and within a day she adds me. Turns out she's a huge fan of mine and my movies. We stayed friends for like 3 or 4 months before hanging out but by then we had talked online sometimes from midnight to 6 am. Just chatting, getting to know each other, as friends. Just opened up about everything, past relationships, drugs, family issues, you name it. After we started to hang out in January after I wrapped Devil's Double I realized, she was like the perfect girl for me. She's like the only girl to ever fit me like a glove. She makes me laugh like no one ever has before. And I never knew that would be such a big deal to me. Normally it's the guy whose expected to make the girl laugh. And I make her laugh too but I've never had a girl do that for me. And I mean DIE of laughter. It's insane. She's hilarious without even trying. She just has such a sarcastic and cutting sense of humor, just like me. She really is my match. And she's so sensual and sexy and funny and smart. We have so much in common. Anyone who I can sit for hours with and joke about favorite Seinfeld episodes with, she's winning in my book. I have NEVER been able to do that with a girl. Ever! So that was major points for her. And we both have been through alot. Similar things. She's just awesome. And her fans know. She has alot of guy fans and they are obsessed with her as I am becoming obsessed with her. There's just something about her, in her eyes, like she knows something you don't. Something she won't reveal. But when you find out what that is, you fall even more in love with her. She's just...she's the shit.
Rage: Aww.....I'm blushing right now.
Robin: Did you pay him to say that?
Rage: Oh yea.
Stern: Mike is this the most strongest you've ever felt for a girl?
Meyers: Yea, I'd say so.
Stern: Since Mel?
Robin: Oh you had to go there.
Meyers: Yes, I'd say so. And I will tell you why. And I hate to always compare girls to her and this will be the last time because from now on Gina is the standard not Mel...But Mel had this thing, I think I said it in a past interview, where she was like my little sister and I wanted to protect her, yet at the same time she had this wisdom and maturity beyond her years and I wanted her to take care of me. Gina has that too. She is 2 years older than me and is very poised and tough and controlled and mature and smart and has seen alot and could really be that older, although not that much older haha, but older female loving figure I've never really had in my life, yet at the same time I can tell she's also very insecure about alot of things and has tons of shit she wants to work on that I can help her with. So it's like we can help each other ya know?
Robin: Aww, that's so sweet.
Rage: See, that's why I love him. The way he words and articulates things is so poetic. He's so much deeper than people give him credit for. He really is an amazing guy. I'm so lucky. Most guys are intimidated by me and he isn't. He just sees me for me.
Meyers: Yea and I feel the same way. I feel like she's the first girl to ever see me for me.
Stern: Mike do you love her enough to get rid of the Mel tattoo?
Robin: Now THAT's the question!
Meyers: Yes it will be gone very soon.
Robin: Really? Finally?
Meyers: Yes. It's been a long time coming. I guess I was just waiting to find the right woman to make that happen.
Stern: How soon?
Rage: Real soon!
Robin: Oh, she sounds like she means business.
Stern: You better get that done now man.
(everyone laughs)
Meyers: Trust me it will be done real soon, as in before Moneyball starts filming soon. Which is this summer.
Stern: And you're doing it for Gina or because it's just time.
Meyers: Because I don't want someone else's name on my neck anymore. I love someone else now and my body belongs to her. Every inch of it. Time to move on. That's what my new album is about, moving on and finding happiness. I found that.
Stern: So Gina let me ask you...you feel the same way then it sounds like?
Rage: Yea I mean, he's a total sweetheart. And we took our time. Like he said, we started off as friends. Neither one of us was looking for a relationship when we met, and as they say, sometimes when you're not looking for someone is when you find them. But yea we just hung out as friends and would talk online all the time when we were too far apart to be together and every night we'd talk to the point where I remember a friend coming over to pick me up so we could go out to eat and she's like 'why aren't you ready yet' and I say I'm talking to Mike and she's like 'again? damn you guys need to just date already' and that truly was the first time it entered my mind. But I was like, yea she has a point. Then one day we went to the zoo, which is like one of my favorite things to do in the world, and we just had a great day together. Then we go out to eat and I made a joke, i forgot what I said and after we both laughed there was this silence and you know how on dates or whatever, sometimes, you get afraid of awkward silences, but we didn't have that. We didn't care. We just kind of sat there in the silence, it was only like maybe 4 or 5 seconds but it felt longer, and we stared into each others eyes, as corny as that sounds, and just looked at each other and I think we had a silent moment, nothing was said, we just kinda knew. That this just...feels right. And at the end of the night he planted a kiss on me that I'll never forget and ever since then we sorta, been together.
Stern: You two must have the best sex, I mean come on. Be honest!
Rage: Haha. Actually, it's funny you mention that because....um...well last night, yea.
Meyers: Well every night pretty much.
Rage: Yea we think we can challenge any couple in Hollywood right now, for who has the most and best sex. We'd take that trophy home.
Stern: Oy Vay!
Robin: What do you guys think makes your sex so good? Give us out here tips.
Meyers: Haha, Um, just passion. You know everyone thinks great sex is all about being kinky or toys or whips or crazy positions or all that. It's not. If you truly are connected with that person spiritually, emotionally, and you both really love and care about each other, then it will be passionate and sensual and intense. And that's the best sex.
Rage: And being a little violent too.
Meyers: Haha. Yea, rough is good.
Stern: Perfect segway. I was just about to ask, speaking of violence...do you guys ever fight at all? I mean I know it's only been a month but, I can't imagine what a fight between you all would be like?
Rage: Ha, well we sort of...have a policy on that.
Robin: Really? Like what?
Meyers: Well listen. Gina and I are fun laid back people but we both also have pretty vicious tempers. As people in the press have seen with me and as you can see with her in the ring. So we both don't want a Chris Brown/Rihanna situation in the press. Me and her don't need that and on top of that it would be much worse with me and her because we'd both be in the hospital. I'm trained in a bunch of stuff for films like the Bond movies and I did Fighter where I played a boxer, Arturo Gatti, and of course Gina is very very skilled and trained so it would get ugly.
Rage: Yea we don't want that.
Meyers: Yea we'd both be pretty fucked up and I'd probably get the worst of it. I'm not gonna lie. And I wanna continue my acting career and also be able to walk so...haha
(everyone laughs)
Stern: So you think you can take her? Seriously?
Meyers: No problem.
Rage: Yea ok.
Stern: I dunno.
Meyers: But here's the thing. We agreed to never let it get to that point. We just agree to disagree. We change the subject if we ever feel something is getting too heated. I think the best couples can do that. Who needs to be right all the time? Who cares? Just love each other.
Stern: I'll tell you who needs to be right all the time? Me. That's who. I run the show baby.
Robin: Yea I think Beth would have something to say about that one.
Stern: Well she's not here right now. That's why I can say that
Robin: Yea I thought so.
Stern: Well it's been great talking to you guys and we really wish you all the best. Mike you're one of my favorite actors and just one of my favorite people in Hollywood. You keep it real man and you live a hell of a life man. So best of luck to ya and Gina good luck with your career in fighting and acting and talk to you guys again soon. Thanks for coming on!
Meyers: Thanks for having us on, anytime man.
Rage: Thanks Howard you're the best...bye!
