Sean Connery calls Meyers a "Sissy boy"

Oh Sir Connery. How we missed thee. TMZ caught up with the grumpy old Scottish legendary actor in New York this weekend and asked the original actor to portray 007 on the silver screen what he thought about Meyers being cast as the new James Bond. Connery, seeming frustrated that he was even asked the question, replied "They didn't ask me for my opinion so it doesn't matter what I think. If they want to hire a sissy boy to play (Bond) so be it." First, I wasn't aware the Bond franchise's producers needed Sir Sean's "approval" on who should be cast as the next Bond. Second, Connery must never have seen any of Meyer's acting performances since he is FAR from a sissy boy and one of the most intense and intimidating young actors working today. Here's to you enjoying your retirement Sean (and we're sure you will enjoy Quantum of Solace next year too)...
